My town

Town Šumperk is situated in Desna river valley near Jeseniky and it is called „Jeseníky Gateway“. Šumperk was founded in 13th century. They were mined precious metals there. Nowadays population is about 27000 people. Town includes Horní Temenice, Dolní Temenice and Šumperk. You can walk to historical part and enjoy the atmosphere of old buildings. Šumperk organizes The International Folklore Festival in summer. Town offers Garden equipment, electrical work or manufactures of doors and windows. You can find here many churches, monasteries, chapels, statues, parks, town houses or city walls from 16th century. There is one museum.
