My family

Let me introduce myself. My name is Petra and I’m 14 years old. I was born on 26^th November 1992.  I’m a student. I am of medium build and quite tall. I have shorter dark hair and green-brown eyes. I am very friendly, lazy, moody and quite nervous. In my free time I like playing the guitar, singing, reading, watching TV, cycling and playing badminton. I live with my family in a family house in a small village near Polish border. The village called Hať. We have got a big garden with many trees and flowers. I live with my mum, my dad, my sister and our dog.

I have got two sisters, their names are Lenka and Jana. Lenka lives in the centre of Ostrava. She is 23 years old. Lenka was born on 24^th June 1984. Lenka works in restaurant Astoria as waitress. She is divorced. Lenka is quite tall and quite slim. My sister Lenka has got long straight black hair and blue-grey eyes. She is very sociable, friendly and quite hard worker. Her hobbies are in-line skating and dancing. My second sister Jane lives with us in our family house. Jane is 25 years old. She was born on 18^th July 1982. Jane is single. She works as an officer. My sister Jane is of medium height and quite slim. She has got long fair hair and blue eyes. Jane is moody, sociable and calm. She also likes in-line skating, cycling, playing badminton, reading historical books and watching  ski-jumping on TV.  We often play cards together.

My mum’s name is Brigita. She is 47 years old and her birthday is on 7^th October.  My mum is medium build and she is quite small. She has got straight short dark hair and green eyes. She is calm.  My mum works as an stock clerk in Jednota Hlučín. She likes reading and watching TV. My mother has three brothers and one sister. Their names are Jan, Rudolf, Pavel and Martina. This is my mother!

My father’s name is Jiří. He was born on 4^th February 1957. So he is 50 years old.  My father is quite tall and medium build. He is very sociable, friendly and lively. He likes reading, listen to the classical music and opera and playing badminton with me and my sister Jane. He works as an worker in Ostrava. My dad has got two brothers and one sister. Their names are Ferdinand, Petr and Anežka.

I have also two grandmums. My mum’s mother is Marie and my father’s mother is Josefa.

Marie lives in a small village Darkovice. My granny lives with my aunt Martina, Martina’s husband Mirek and with my cousins Jakub and Odřej. My granny also has two dogs, their names are Míša and Brok. Brok is very lively, while Míša is calm. My granny Jozefa lives is village Píšť. She lives with my uncle Ferda and with my aunt Marie.

We have got a dog. The dog’s name is Mikeš. Our dog is quite small and he has got brown fur. He is four years old. He isn’t clean-bred, he is a mongrel. He is very lively. He likes jumping over the fences. Mikeš is my darling!
