MY DAILY ROUTINE

MY DAILY ROUTINE. On weekdays I usually wake up at 6 o’clock. First of all I go to the bathroom to wash my face with cold water. Then I put my contact lenses on and I go back to the bathroom to have a shower and to wash my hair. When I’m done with that, my mother usually has the breakfest ready. I eat breakfast every morning, because it is healthy. My favourite breakfast is fresh bread with cheese or a yoghurt with a roll, which I have with a cup of tea. I usually have breakfast only with my mother, because my father gets up earlier and my brother lives in Prague at the moment. We usually talk about our plans for the day and listen to the music on the radio. At half past six, I cleen my teeth and then I dry my hair. After that I get dressed and put on my make-up. At 6:50 I go to the bus stop. It is not far from my home, I think it can be 50 metres. At quarter to eight the bus arrives to the school. The first lesson at school starts five minutes before 8 o’clock. The classes take place in different classrooms, it depends on the subject, which means that we have to change classrooms during every break. We usually have between 6 – 8 lessons a day. After the second lesson, we have 20 minute break. During that time I have a snack. Lunch is 13:20, but I don’t eat in the school cafeteria, so I usually buy something to eat in the bakery. Bus which takes me home leaves at three quarter after two PM. When I arrive home, I have a rest for a while. Then I prepare for school and I do my homework. At six PM we usually have a dinner. Then I watch TV and I can spend my time with my hobbies. At ten o’clock I cleen my teeth and go to bed, but before I fall asleep I like to read a book for a while.

MY LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. I said that after dinner I spend my time with my hobbies, but I didn’t say, what my hobbies are. My greatest hobby is watching TV shows. My favourite ones are: Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. I watch them usually with my brother, because he also likes these series. My another hobby is reading books. In a few last months I hadn’t much time for it, but when I have time, I read almost everything. I like historical novels, detective stories and poetry as well. I love music and I really enjoy going to concerts. I like almost every music genre, except brass music and techno. I also administer the official website about one music group and I spend a lot of time translating some articles about them and communicating with the band and their manager. I also like hanging out with my friends. When I was younger, I played a piano. I started to play when I was six years old but ten years later I had to stop it, because I had no time for that. And I think I wasn’t talented. My passion is travelling. I travel a lot, but only in the holidays, because in the school-year I haven’t much time for that. I travel mostly with my parents or with my friends. I have already been in a lot of European countries but my wish is to go to India. And one of my greatest hobby is sleeping. If I could, I would sleep all day long.

THE IDEAL DAY. My ideal day would start with the sleep until noon. Then I would eat something delicious in my favourite restaurant and in the afternoon I would just lay in the sun, read a book and relax. In the evening I would go out with my friend, we would go to the cinema and watch a good movie.

MY FUTURE PLANS. After I’ll pass my school-leaving exam, I’d like to study at the university, I’d like to study Czech language and literature or German language and literature at the Charles University in Prague, but I have to pass the entrance exams first. After I finish bachelor study I want to continue in master study. I’d like to rent a small flat in Prague and stay there after I’ll finish the studies. After I get my title, I wish to find a good job as a translator or a philologist in the Institute of the Czech Language of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. I’d like earn some money and one day I want to establish family and have one or two children. But first of all I have to find a good-looking, intelligent and rich man.
