My future career
When I was a child I had never thought about my future career. I was influenced by stories and I wanted to enjoy various adventures. Hardly any of those came true because children’s views of the world are too romantic.
Then I started to attend Basic School and all my dreams changed. I played piano; I went to the ballet lessons. I was quite good at school; I liked all my school subjects. My plans for my future career changed from day to day. I wanted to be a princess (I wanted to be a princess, I wanted to live in a palace, have a nice clouds and a nice prince), a teacher, a space-woman, a doctor, a vet, a chemist, a journalist, an au-pair, a waiter, a secretary, a fashion designer, a decorator, a photographer. I am keen sportswoman, but I have asthma so I can’t do all sports. Later my parents advised me to go on to Secondary School. I choose Trading Centre.
During my studies I began to think about my future more seriously and so did my parents. It was not easy. I wanted to work with people; I wanted to do something meaningful for them. I did not like those people who were lazy or abused their jobs. Since the first form I have been attending the ballet, playing piano and gymnastic. I started to like my hobbies very much. Now I prefer learning languages, so I’m looking forward to my studies in Prague or Brno. Anyway, I’ll try to apply to a university. And because I’m keen on math or people or languages, I’ll try some psychologist or language branch. I am ready for anything- traveling, working at nights…
My summer jog or my after-school job
It hasn’t been possible for me to have an after-school job because I have too much homework, I need to help my parents. Over the summer I worked as shop assistant.
My friends have a weekend job; they go with my father to build a timbering house. My friends need money. The want to go to the disco.
