Describing people

Describing people is a wide theme. It isn’t only about describing the look of a person but the second page is the personality. I think that the speaker must know the person he describes well to be able to give a realistic description. So I have decided to describe my brother.

I have known my brother for all my life. I have also pictures where he leans to my cot. During my childhood he was a sort of pattern for me and I always wanted to be as good as he was. I was always with him during summer holidays as a tick. I can tell back now that I had to annoy him a few times then. But we have always had a very good relationship and even today we get along more than pretty good. But of course there have been quarrels and fights.

He is 23 years old and he doesn’t live at ours anymore, he lives in Liberec. He finished a technical school 5 years ago. He is unemployed currently.

I am going describe is physical appearance. He is tall, a few centimeters above 190. But he had an average high through his years on an elementary school. He started to get higher when he was on the technical school.

He is thin, I would say that he is skinny. He can eat whatever he wants and he never put on weight. Though he is thin he doesn’t look like a skeleton, I would say that he has some foundations of muscles back from the time when he did a little of working-out at home and played football.

I am not going to judge whether or not he is pretty in face that can judge everyone who meet him. But I can say that his face is oval. Because of his thinness his cheekbones are visible.

He has brown short hair. His hair are rather thin. My mother told him that when he had been a very little boy he had used to have curly hair, it can be recognized even today because when his hair get longer you can see they are little wavy.

His eyes are brown and he has a small ears. He has a very sensitive skin so he doesn’t shave his face to often so the most of time he wears facial hair.

Now about his personality. I think that he is very patient but when is something too much he can burst up and can be very uneasy. But most of time he is a calm person. He has a positive look on the world but depressions don’t avoid him.

I can say that he is humorous and is for most of hoots. Sometimes he takes his time to make fun from his friends by wrapping a present into something you wouldn’t expect it.

Even thought he plays sports he is a lazy person. He likes to sleep long in the morning (So do I) and even during the day he takes a nap.

I can really say that he is intelligent and solve many problems. He is a technical type. But he didn’t have good grades back in school because he is not a student type (I am). I can say that the only time when he was studying was when he had a week before his maturita exam, as far as I can remember.

He is friendly to other people and doesn’t like hypocrisy and stupidity. He is open for new things and he is not scared of a change. I would also say that he is street-smart.

On the other hand he doesn’t have a good attitude towards job (As I said he didn’t even had towards school.). But he is a good employee and can adapt and learn new things.

To finish this description I would say that he is self-confident and ambitious.
