• What kind of music do you like?

I don´t prefer any kind of music because I like all music. And I also don´t prefer any singer. But I usually listen to a radio Europe 2, so I think that I can say that this is my favourite music.

 

• Are you a good singer?

I don´t think that I am a good singer. But I have already heard that I have a nice voice. I also used to go to Mrs. Křenková and she taught me to sing. But then I stopped going to her and now, I can´t sing again. It is necessary to practise singing because you “forget” it after some time.

I also tried to sing at home – I had found a website “karaokeparty.com”. There are songs in English with text and there are also highs of each tone. But it is really hard to learn singing. It is much better if there is somebody who can teach you.

 

• Can you play a musical instrument?

I can play a flute. I have learned it at a basic school. One of teachers of that school taught us for three years. But we can play just easy songs because we know only basics. And I still play flute sometimes, I haven´t forget it and I also still can play one easy song without reading score.

 

• Have you ever been to a concert?

I have already been to a concert. I remember I have been just to one concert. I was at Ewa Farna´s concert in Žďár. I was there with my friend. I remember that there was great atmosphere. And after that, I bought Ewa´s photo with her signature and my friend bought her poster with her signature.

 

• How does music make you feel?

It depends on kind of music and on my mood.

If I am a little bit depressed and I listen sad or nostalgic music, my depression will get worse. But if I listen funny, crazy or happy music, I will feel better than before.

And if I am happy and I listen sad or nostalgic music (again), I will be sad too. But if I listen happy music or music with nice melody, I will sing with radio (if I know lyrics) or I will dance.

 

• How many CD´s do you have?

I have just a few CD´s. But even when I have it, I don´t listen to it because there are songs for kids on them. And then, I have a few films and computer games on CD´s.

 

• How much time do you spend listening to music?

It depends on free time which I have, my mood and activities which I do because I listen to music while working and doing homework.

But I don´t like listening to music when I read book because I have to concentrate on reading.

I usually turn on my radio when I go to bed and I fall asleep while it plays.

 

• Where do you usually listen to music?

I usually listen to music on the internet – on youtube or on the website of Europe 2. And how I have already said, I listen to radio and it is in my bedroom.

I also listen to music at parties – in night clubs or in houses of culture. But this isn´t just a way how to listen to music, it is also a way how to meet friends and new people.

 

• Do you think it is wrong to download music for free?

I don´t care if we can download music for free or not because I don´t download music. I think that it is good thing that we can download music for free. Music should be available.

 

• Which do you prefer, songs in English or songs in your own language?

I don´t care if it is in English or in Czech. I like both of them. I even like songs in French or in Spanish.

I like Czech music because I understand every word which they sing. But on the other hand, I think that English music is maybe a little bit better because of their pronunciation.

 

• Are you addicted to watching movies?

I like watching films but I also like reading books. It is sometimes better to read a book because some films are not good at all, especially films which are based on a book, for example Eragon. But there are exceptions, of course, for example The Great Gatsby is great film but it is great book too.

I am glad that it is possible to go to cinema whenever we want. I am talking about cinema in bid cities, for example in Jihlava or in Prague, not about Žďár.

 

• What kind of film do you like?

My favourite kind of film is a romantic comedy with happy end. I also sometimes watch horror films and sci-fi or fantasy films. Harry Potter series are my favourite fantasy films and I seem it exception because it is based on book which is really readable and films according to them are breath taking!

 

• Which do you prefer, to watch movies or to read books?

It is hard to say, so I must say that I prefer both of them. It depends on genre, writer´s style and when it was written. I wouldn´t read a detective book but I sometimes watch this genre. But I like reading fantasy books and I like watching fantasy films too.

I tried to read one of Bohumil Hrabal´s book and it was really hard for me because he writes very long sentences and I think that he doesn´t write in chorological order.

I also wanted to read Pride and Prejudice which was written by Jane Austin. I wanted to read it because I heard a lot positive things about it. But when I started to read, I found out that there are too many main characters. I couldn´t remember all of them. There were some parents and they had four of five daughters – I don´t remember how many daughter exactly they had. But I liked the film version. It was awesome! Even Keira Knightley acted there! She is amazing actress.

 

 

• Do you know any Czech film directors?

I think that the most popular Czech director is Zdeněk Troška. He directed legendary films!

His very famous films are Slunce seno series and Kameňák series. These films are incredibly funny and it is very similar to a reality. We can see everyday problems there. Although they are quite old films, I can watch it again and again.

 

• Why are they famous?

In my opinion, Zdeněk Troška is so famous because he directed excellent films which everybody like.

 

• Why do people still go to theatre?

People go to theatre because they like people around them and they like cultural events. A lot of plays are about everyday problems. The most favourite plays are comedy, opera, musical and tragedy. A comedy is a play which makes people laugh. Opera is play in which usually one person sings. Musical is a play in which people sing and play musical instruments. Tragedy is a performance without happy end.

 

• How to arrange a visit to the theatre?

You have to buy a ticket. You can book it in advance, buy a ticket at booking office or buy a season ticket.

It is important which clothes you dress up. Men should wear suit, shirt, tie and a pair of elegant shoes (usually black one). Women should wear dress and high hell shoes. They also can have hand bag and jewel, for example necklace.

You should switch off your phone during the performance.

 

• What do you know about William Shakespeare?

William §Shakespeare is very famous playwright, who lived in Great Britain. He wrote a lot of plays which are very popular, for example Hamlet or Romeo and Julie. He was writhing historical plays, tragedies and comedies.

He was supported by Elizabeth the first. He was married and he had three children. He built The Globe theatre in sixteen century. The Globe theatre was open air. Audience clapped their hands if they liked the performance, but if they didn´t liked it, they were throwing tomatoes to actors. There weren´t any actresses.

It is very interesting that William Shakespeare was born on 23th April and he died also on 23th April.
