Guide to writing emails
There are many people who are not able to create appropriate email with all necessities it has and without mistakes. It is important to realize that emails are something very similar to written letters and it must have some structure and make a good impression.
There is a huge difference between an email for your best friend and email, which is destined for your future employer, teacher or boss. If the email is formal, it is not convenient to use short words (for example fine x suitable) and abbreviations (it is not allowed to use short forms at all). You must also think up apt subject, which will force the recipient to read the whole message. Another issue which can make you look like a fool is improper salutation at the beginning or in the end of the email.
Besides, the email looks much better with usage of linking words. Luckily, there is many synonyms in English, you can use. It makes the message more clear, clarify and personal.
The last issue, you must be observant to, are the subject line and layout. It is good to place the most important information to the beginning of email, because many people don´t read the whole message. The whole email must be good-looking. It is not necessary to use more types of scripts, italics, bold letters or enclose some useless pictures.
The best way how to learn writing email is practicing, feedback and analyzing messages which were sent to you. Good luck with writing emails!
